Harmonica Almanac – September 26

Blues guitar, violin and harmonica player LC “Good Rockin’” Robinson died on this day in 1976. Robinson learned how to play the harmonica from his father and by the late 1920’s he was working professionally. Over the years he worked with Johnny Otis, Muddy Waters and other Blues greats as well as recording on his own.
