Country harmonica player Don Brooks died on this day in 2000. Brooks began playing the harmonica while he was in high school and when he was 20 he moved to New York City where he became a very active part of the Greenwich Village music scene. Brooks became Waylon Jennings full-time harmonica player in 1973 as well as working with on Broadway with the musical “Big River”.
That’s it for today. Have fun and practice!
