Harmonica Almanac – October 16

Blues guitar and harmonica player Big Joe Williams was born on this day in 1903. Williams specialized in playing a 9-string guitar. He began playing music at the age of five and was working professionally by the time he was twelve. During his career he helped to start the careers of both Muddy Waters and Bob Dylan.

That’s it for today. Have fun and practice!
