Pete Krampert Also known as Robert Nighthawk, Robert Lee McCoy was born on this day in 1909. McCoy played with the Memphis Jug Band in the mid-1920’s and during the 30’s he worked with Sleepy John Estes, Big Joe Williams, John Lee Hooker and many other Blues greats.
