Pete Krampert Classical composer Francis Chagrin was born on this day in 1905. Chagrin wrote “Roumanian Fantasy for Harmonica and Orchestra” in 1956 for Larry Adler.
Bass harmonica player Don Les was born on this day in 1914. Les started playing the harmonica when he was fifteen and later joined the Harmonica Rascals, where he met Jerry Murad. Les later joined Murad in the group, The Quintones, which would later become the Harmonicats.
