Harmonica player Bud Boblink was born on this day in 1936. Bud’s been performing since he was thirteen and usually plays in harmonica bands. He played with Johhny Puleo’s Harmonica Gang as well as with The Harmonicats.
Blues harmonica player Carey Bell taught himself how to play at the age of eight. After moving to Chicago in 1956 he became a part of the city’s thriving Blues scene, performing and recording over a dozen albums. Bell was born on this day in 1936.
