Harmonica band player Al Smith was born on this day in 1932. Al was a member of the Harmonica Rascals and also does a duet with his wife Judy as the Harmonica Hotshots. He loves to work with harmonica clubs and write arrangements for large harmonica bands.

Tiffany Harp

Tiffany Harp

Brazilian Blues harmonica player Tiffany Harp started playing the harmonica when she was sixteen and specializes in playing Chicago-style Blues. She plays Hohner Marine Bands and is one of their endorsers. Tiffany was born on this day in 1986.

Vaudeville harmonica player Joe Mullendore died on this day in 1990. Mullendore played in Albert Hoxie’s harmonica band, then joined the Harmonica Harlequins, followed by a stint in the Cappy Barra Harmonica Ensemble. After World War Two he worked in Hollywood doing soundtrack work.
