Eugene “Buddy” Moss

Blues guitar and harmonica player Eugene “Buddy” Moss was born on this day in 1906.  He was playing professionally by the time he was 12 and worked with a number of famous Bluesmen before doing a stint in prison for killing his wife in the mid-1930’s.

Rusty York

Country / Rockabilly / Bluegrass multi-instrumentalist Rusty York passed away on this day in 2014.  York played the harmonica amongst the many he played.  His career spanned from the 1950’s until the late 2000’s.
