Blues harmonica player Bobo Jenkins died on this day in 1984. Jenkins began in music at the age of five, but didn’t really come to the public’s attention until 1941, when he appeared on the King Biscuit Time radio program. He remained active in music until he died.
Andy Rodgers, also known as “The Midnight Cowboy”, learned to play from both Sonny Boy Williamsons and was performing by the time he was eleven. He settled in California and worked as a cowboy for several years, but got back into music when he got older. Rodgers died on this day in 2004.
That’s it for today. Have fun and practice!
