Rick Hatfield, who was born on this day in 1951, is a blues harmonica player who works out of Florida. He has recorded two CD’s of his music.
Country multi-instrumentalist Al Dexter died on this day in 1984. Dexter learned to play the harmonica as a youngster and was playing professionally by the time he was in his teens. His biggest hit was “Pistol Packin’ Mama”.
Bluegrass singer-songwriter Earl Taylor died on this day in 1984. Taylor played several instruments, including the harmonica.
